Benefits of Relaxation Yoga and Relaxation

When the body and mind overworked, their efficiency to perform the natural functions decreases. Modern social life, food, work and even so-called entertainment make it difficult to relax for civilized man. But not only is it hard to relax, but has even forgotten el modo natural de recargar el cuerpo durante la relajación y el descanso.

El cuerpo generated throughout a day all substances and energy to the next. But it often happens that all these chemicals and energy consumed in a few minutes because of bad temper, anger, irritation, they reach a certain level of intensity. This process of eruption and repression of violent emotions often becomes a common habit. The result is truly disastrous not only for the body, but also for the mind.

During relaxation is not consumed virtually no Prana or energy, although remains a little movement to keep the body in its normal state. The rest is preserved and stored.

To achieve perfect relaxation Yogis use three methods: physical relaxation, mental and spiritual. No relaxation is complete until it has reached the spiritual state of relaxation that only yogis know.

1. PHYSICAL RELAXATION
Any action
is the result of a thought. Thoughts take the form of action and the body reacts. Just as we send a message to the muscles to contract, another message will also take relaxation to tired muscles. The relaxation pose called Savasana or corpse pose.

Lie on the floor and pull both legs about 40 cm. each other. Drop the toes to the sides. The arms are left free on both sides of the body with palms up and fingers slightly bent. Breathing is slow, rhythmic, diaphragmatic. The message of relaxation is caused by auto-suggestion. First, physical relaxation starts from the toes up and auto-suggestion of relaxation passes through every muscle and reaches the eyes and ears. Then, slowly sending messages to the kidneys, liver, etc.

Savasana is an effective treatment for hypertension that occupies a high place in the list of mortality. The drugs used in treatment often produce harmful effects on the body and must be avoided as far as possible. Our experiments, conducted with 46 patients of hypertension in Bombay showed that his condition improved considerably after a period of forty weeks during which gradually replaced by the usual drugs Savasana.

2. MENTAL RELAXATION.

During mental stress is to breathe slowly and rhythmically for a few minutes. Calming the mind will gradually until you feel a sensation of floating.

3. Spiritual relaxation.

Although an attempt to relax the mind, can not completely eliminate all tensions and worries until it reaches spiritual relaxation. As long as man identifies himself with his body and mind will be no worries, sadness, anxiety, fear and anger, which, in turn, cause stress. While the man did not abstracts himself from the idea of \u200b\u200bthe body and not separate from the consciousness of the ego, there is no way to get complete relaxation. In a spiritual relaxation abstracts and identifies with the omnipotent and omniscient Being, full of peace and happiness. The source of power, knowledge, peace and strength lies in the soul, not the body. Affirming its real nature, saying "I am that pure consciousness or the Self" , one identifies with the Absolute and complete the process of relaxation.
